Rules & Regulations

1. All interested participants are to photograph the activities and happenings of the Borneo Arts Festival 2010 at the event venue (Labuan International Sea Sports Complex) from 6 to 8 August 2010.

2. Participants have to submit their entries in digital format in CD or DVD (participant name and the word “MOMENTS” to be clearly written on the it with permanent CD marker) and posted to:

3. Each participant can submit up to 30 digital images and all entries must reach The Competition Management by 20th August 2010. Entries must be submitted along with the ENTRIES SUBMISSION FORM which can be downloaded from www.mastercontest.com

4. Proof of postage is not applicable and participants have to ensure they post their entries properly.

5. Winners will be judged on the creative and expression of the entries that feature any of the activities, people and happenings during the 3 days of the Borneo Arts Festival 2010 at the event grounds. Winners may win more than one prize.

6. Minor enhancements and cropping of the digital image is allowed and images that are deemed to have been digitally manipulated or superimposed to created new effects may be disqualified. Images submitted can be in color, Black & White or HDR.

7. All results will be announced in www.mastercontest.com within 30 days from the closing date of submission of entries.

8. All prizes are to be collected from the Ministry of Tourism, Labuan Office within 60 days upon announcement of results. Prizes not collected after the period will be returned back to the organizer.

9. Judges decision is final and any correspondence will not be entertained.

10. All images and materials submitted will not be returned and the organizer may use it in any form with regards to this promotion or creation of awareness of this photo challenge, grant the Ministry of Tourism, Labuan Office to feature them in their promotional materials and also to grant media or the press to publish them without the need to notify the photographer who has submitted them. For the assurance of the participants, their entries will not be sold as an image in any way. Participants can still sell their original copies as they will still own the copyright as the photographer of the image.

11. In the event of any disputes or claims brought onto the participants or their entries, the participants will, by entering this competition, indemnify the organizers and its sponsors and all other parties involved in this project against such disputes or claims.

12. The organizer will not entertain any calls and all inquiries have to be sent via email to info@stephenroneelaum.com

13. The Organizer reserves the right to change or modify any of the above Rules & Regulations without prior notice.

14. This is a community awareness project by Stephen Ronee Lau (M) Sdn Bhd and organized as part of the Borneo Arts Festival 2010.
